April 2012
I only have about 14 books on me and the rest is in Vermont because I just can’t cram all that in a tiny apartment. I have all the Astonishing X-Men, New X-Men both Morrison and Academy X, etc, Deadpool. It’s all X-Men but there’s at least another 15-20 books at home.
I spend over a $100 a month on comics, Iron Man included. Please do not assume that I download all of my comics and don’t buy any. I am well aware of the titles that don’t sell as much as the big dogs and I buy those too. Do you think Marvel profits in anyway when people resell their old comics on eBay or comic stores? No, they don’t. You know what I did today? I downloaded the original Spider-Woman and you know what? I own about four issues of the original run and I’m still hunting down the other issues. Not to mention I have TPBs up the ying yang. What people don’t seem to understand is nothing is as good as holding a fresh comic book in their hand. If we want it, we’re going to buy it. We’re going to do our damndest to get it. I mean every Wednesday I pick up about 5-6 issues of something at 3.99 each, so multiply that times 4. Plus, all of the money I spend on merchandise…. Not to mention many things are out of print and cost a fortune. So if I want to download some old school Iron Man, I’m going to download some old school Iron Man.
I’d be eternally grateful if someone knew of a masterpost, torrent, or anything. Thank you.
