God, the preview for the new Wolverine & the X-Men issue has made me loathe Logan

“I’m just glad your Momma ain’t here to see this.”

How freakin’ dare Logan attack Rachel like that? He knows how much she regrets and hates her past, how she was forced to, against her will, hunt Mutants and that it haunts her, yet he uses such a thing against her?! This was the man she once said was like a father to her. Not only that, but I’m 90% sure he said earlier he doesn’t care which side she chooses as it won’t effect the school, but he’s basically saying she’ll no longer be a teacher there. How frickin’ petty of him. Plus Wolverine runs a hit-squad, so I don’t see how he can talk about hunting mutants…

And then he goes and throws Jean in her face- he knows how much Jean means to her, how hurt she was when she wasn’t accepted by her and how much she still loved her, even though at first she wasn’t accepted. He knows that she would hate to disappoint her mother, yet is using Jean against her, acting as if he knows her best and not her daughter who, I assume, would’ve mind-linked with her at one point so she would’ve known her better. Low frickin’ blow.

Plus he was the first one to actually attack! Rachel came to him peacefully, asking where Hope is, and he verbally attacks her and then physically! And finally, everyone should actually be listening to Rachel as she was the host to the Phoenix for the longest and therefore knows it better than anyone alive, so if she says it can be controlled and is here to help then the chances are she’s actually right because she was bonded to it for so long- why don’t people realize that?!

I’m not sure whether or not Marvel are making Logan seem a dick in his own series on purpose or not, but quite frankly this has made me hate him with a fiery passion- before I was “Ho-hum” about him and Cyclops, but now Cyclops is benefiting the world and Logan is being a dick to someone who looked up to him as a father figure… I just really, really hate Logan now.

Honestly, it feels so fucking out of character. Logan would never talk to Rachel like that.Jason Aaron what are you doing? I’m beside myself.
